Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo is back in full swing after more than a month out with injury, leading his Al Nassr side to a 5-2 win over Al Najma with a brace that took his scoring tally to 967 goals.
The Portuguese, who has been out of action for 34 days due to the muscle injury he suffered on February 28, returned for the match of the 27th matchday, against the bottom team.

He scored his team’s third on penalty in the 56th minute and the fourth in the 73rd minute, taking advantage of a pass from the right by Nawaf Boushal.
The Portuguese was substituted ten minutes from time and Sané, in stoppage time, scored the goal that rounded off the home side’s victory.
The Portuguese star now has 967 career goals to his name with the two scored against Al Najma, which suffered its sixth consecutive defeat.
Al Nassr also consolidates first place in the table with a six-point lead over Al Hilal.
