In a box at Allegiant Stadium, Spanish driver Carlos Sainz, of the Williams Racing Formula 1 team, was present, along with Mark Davis, owner of the Raiders.
In addition to the four touchdown passes, Dak Prescott totaled 246 yards.
With Las Vegas, Geno Smith passed for 238 yards, connected on one touchdown, suffered one interception and was caught four times.
The Cowboys started the game with a strange decision by head coach Brian Schottenheimer:
He benched CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens, his star receivers; the result was a series of three scoreless plays.
On the second offensive drive, Schottenheimer cut back, sent Lamb and Pickens to the field to set up his offense and make it a three-and-out with a 50-yard field goal converted by Brandon Aubrey.
Las Vegas reacted in kind with a pair of three-point kicks by Daniel Carlson that put them up 6-3.

Dallas had a second quarter in roller mode.
He manhandled the Raiders’ defensive secondary with three Dak Prescott runs to the diagonals.
The first to CeeDee Lamb, the second to George Pickens and the third was caught by his tight end, Jake Ferguson.

The Lone Star team kept up the pace in the third quarter, which opened with another series that culminated in a touchdown pass, this time to Ryan Flournoy to make the score 9-31.
The Las Vegas offense woke up at the start of the final period.
Geno Smith set up a series that went 62 yards in 14 plays and capped with a touchdown pass to Tre Tucker to pull within 16-31.
In response, the Cowboys defense contributed two more points on a safety, stopping Ashton Jeanty inside his own touchdown zone to seal the 16-33 victory.
