Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show became the fourth most watched in history, with an average of 128.2 million viewers, according to Nielsen data, surpassing this year’s overall average and consolidating the artist as one of the main references that have passed through this scenario.
Nielsen, the company that measures television viewership in the United States, also noted that the show broke several records on social networks, generating significant impact on platforms such as Twitter, Instagram and TikTok, where highlights were shared massively and became worldwide trends during and after the event.

Although it surpasses the 124.9 million viewers of this year’s edition overall, it is still below the record of 133.5 million reached by Kendrick Lamar’s show in the previous edition.
The Puerto Rican ‘s performance is only surpassed in history, besides Lamar, by Michael Jackson, who reached 133.4 million in 1993 and Usher with 129.3 million in 2024, according to Nielsen data.
