Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic predicted that Portugal’s national team will win the 2026 World Cup by beating Mexico in the final.

“I’m going to be bold, it’s going to win the World Cup Portugal and it’s going to beat Mexico in the final,” he said in an interview with Jordanian content creator Mohamed Adnan during the Abu Dhabi Formula 1 Grand Prix. Asked about his risky prediction, Novak Djokovic noted, “I said I was going to be bold. Portugal and Mexico in the final and Portugal wins.”
