The documentary miniseries produced by rapper Curtis Jackson -better known as 50 Cent- about Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and the abuse allegations against him will premiere on December 2.
The Netflix platform, where the docuseries will be broadcast, announced Tuesday – in a statement – the premiere date of ‘Sean Combs: The Reckoning’, which it defined as “an amazing analysis of the media mogul, music legend and convicted felon.”
50 Cent is executive producing the project, which will be directed by Alexandria Stapleton.
“I am grateful to everyone who entrusted us with their stories, and proud to have Stapleton as the director to bring this important story to the big screen,” the rapper wrote in the statement.
In the brief ‘teaser’ for the docuseries, which will feature four episodes, 50 Cent is heard saying, “You can’t keep hurting people and nothing ever happens. It’s just a matter of time.”

According to the release, the documentary miniseries, through never-before-seen materials, will introduce the public to the story of ‘Diddy’ Combs as a “powerful” man and creator of “an empire” under which existed an “underworld” of abuse.
The artist, founder of Bad Boy Records and the driving force behind the careers of musicians such as The Notorious BIG and Danity Kane, is now serving a sentence of more than four years in prison after being convicted in July of two counts of transportation for prostitution.
After a trial that dragged on for two months, ‘Diddy’ Combs, 55, was exonerated of the most serious crimes he faced: sex trafficking and racketeering.
Prosecutors accused Diddy of forcing his now ex-girlfriends into marathon encounters with male sex workers that typically included drug use, such as ecstasy or ketamine, and could last for days.
“This is not just about Sean Combs’ story, or any of the victims, or the accusations against him, or the trial. This story reflects us as a public and what we say when we put celebrities on such a high pedestal,” Stapleton said, reported Agencia EFE.
