Andrea Legarreta’s return to the show Hoy not only marked her return to the screen, but also caught the public’s attention for a very personal revelation.
The host officially confirmed her relationship with Luis Carlos Buzzy Origel, nephew of journalist Juan José “Pepillo” Origel, and shared how those closest to her have reacted to this new stage in her relationship, after being single for approximately three years.
After confirming her engagement in a meeting with Televisa Espectáculos, Legarreta delved into the subject in an interview with reporter Edén Dorantes, where she assured that both her daughters, Mía and Nina, and her ex-husband, Erik Rubín, have received the news with joy and support.
The support of Erik Rubín and his daughters

Andrea explained that her family is not only calm, but excited about this relationship. According to her, Erik Rubín expressed his satisfaction to know that she is with a person she appreciates and respects. “He and I are still family and we always want each other to be with someone good. For him, Luis is a great person,” she commented.
The host pointed out that the previous bond between Rubín and Origel has facilitated an atmosphere of trust and affection. Likewise, her daughters have shown a positive attitude towards the relationship, since they have known Luis Carlos for a long time. “They love him very much, my daughters adore him. We know the kind of person he is and that gives a lot of peace of mind,” she added.
Legarreta also confessed that, although at the beginning she did not imagine starting a relationship with someone younger, as time went by she understood that her feelings had changed. She acknowledged that this story was born from a solid friendship that grew naturally.
“I have always loved him very much and he is a great person. As a woman I had certain ideas, but you learn that you can’t close the door to what life presents you with,” she explained. For the hostess, this romance has been a pleasant surprise that came after going through an emotionally complex stage.
Privacy as a priority

Although she feels full and excited, Andrea made it clear that she prefers to keep this relationship away from excessive media exposure. She assured that she does not plan to fill her social networks with publications about her sentimental life, since she wants the relationship to keep an intimate and special character.
“You’re not going to see my Instagram full of photos. I want this to be our thing,” she said, marking clear boundaries between her public and private life.
The official confirmation came after the two appeared together on Hoy. In an interview, Andrea acknowledged that she went through a period of sadness before opening up to love again. “What is seen is not judged. Today I’m fine, happy and excited. It’s nice when you discover that someone looks at you with affection and that you are with a kind and sweet person,” she said.
With this new stage, Andrea Legarreta proves that love can come unexpectedly and at the least expected moment, always accompanied by the support of those who matter the most.
