Death, often seen as a bleak end, can be revealed as a process of profound enlightenment and connection when approached from spirituality. HERE you can listen to the podcast.

In a recent conversation with Adriana Urrutia on the podcast El Sexto Sentido: Casos Reales, Estefany Núñez shared her emotional journey with her father, Juan Núñez, a man who transformed his battle with a terminal illness into a masterclass in acceptance and transcendence. Here is Juan Núñez’s farewell.

The story took an unexpected turn when Juan was diagnosed with myosarcoma, an extremely rare type of cancer with a prevalence of just 1-3%.

Faced with an aggressive treatment that implied the amputation of his arm, Juan, faithful to his convictions and his inner search, chose a different path: to live his last days with integrity and without “savage” interventions.

For Estefany, a nutritionist by profession, this process was an apprenticeship in what she describes as “beautiful sadness”.

Although there was initially denial, the illness became a bridge to deep empathy, connecting her not only to her father, but to the reality of human frailty in a way she had never experienced before.

Signs from beyond: “I’m just saying goodbye”.

One of the most poignant moments in the story involves Adriana, a close family friend, who received a supernatural message while Juan was still alive.

During a spiritual ceremony, Adriana visualized Juan, who asked her to deliver an urgent message to her daughter:

“Tell Stephanie to bear with me because I’m just saying goodbye.”

This message drastically changed Estefany’s perspective.

What appeared to be a meaningless physical deterioration turned out to be a slow and conscious withdrawal.

This sign allowed daughter and father to share moments of a sacred everyday life, transforming each day into an opportunity to say goodbye without the pressure of urgency, but with the calm of knowing that the journey continues on another plane.

Sacred Permission: The Final Act of Love

Juan, a student of reincarnation and astrology, seemed to be waiting for something before leaving.

Despite his critical condition, his body was holding up.

The family realized that a crucial spiritual step was missing: permission to let go.

It was his wife, after 40 years of marriage, who finally granted him the “blessing” or release, assuring him that he had been a good husband and father, and that she would take care of all that remained on earth.

A few days after receiving this ‘permission’, Juan departed in peace.

Words that Transcend: Wisdom in Grief

During the talk, three reflections were highlighted that serve as a guide for anyone facing a loss:

On acceptance: “As the facts unfold and you can no longer do anything, you begin to see the positive side of the situation… when acceptance comes, any process in life becomes easier”.

On the soul message: “Adriana, please tell Stephanie to bear with me because I’m just saying goodbye”.

On the new dimension of affection: “When you love someone so much, only when they are gone do you gain access to another dimension of love for that person that you don’t have while they are alive”.

Love as an infinite bridge

Juan Núñez’s story reminds us that living “like a bird” – as he used to say – means moving through the world lightly, enjoying the park, good food and what makes us happy, and then taking flight when the cycle is complete.

His legacy is not illness, but the certainty that love does not end with the last breath.

As Estefany reflected, death is simply crossing from one room to another, where the essence remains intact and the bond is strengthened in memory and spirit.

The episode Relatos del Más Allá: La despedida de Juan Núñez y vidas pasadas is now available on all audio platforms, such as Apple Podcasts and Spotify, where you can find other titles promoted by QuéOnnda and Nueva Network such as Alquimia Interior and Astrología Interdimensional.
