Mexico’ s Fatima Bosch, presented as Miss Universe 2025 and 26 years old, went on Telemundo’s Pica y Se Extiende, hosted by Carlos Adyan and Lourdes Stephen, as part of her media schedule after passing through New York and arriving in Miami. However, the conversation became uncomfortable and escalated to a point where the beauty queen left the set and, according to the story, canceled her schedule with the network.
He was so annoyed that, upon leaving, he took a cab and did not use the transportation that the television station had already assigned to him.
The interview began with questions about the state of health of Miss Jamaica, Gabrielle Henry, who suffered a serious fall during the preliminaries of the pageant.
Fatima explained that she visited her and even took some things to her, but stressed that she did not share anything on social networks out of respect for her privacy. According to her position, she preferred not to expose publicly a sensitive issue because it was about the health and recovery of another contestant.

Then came questions that, according to the text, would have made Bosch uncomfortable. Carlos Buzzy asked him about the controversy related to visas and passports, a topic that had circulated weeks ago: it was said that some participants would not be “ideal candidates” because of the difficulties to travel internationally.
“What would you have to say to those girls who may not have the privilege of a visa like yours?” the presenter asked her. Fatima responded with signs of discomfort, saying that she was not thoroughly familiar with the internal rules of the organization.
Even so, he argued that everyone should have the same opportunities regardless of passport, although he added that the organization also operates as a company and, if it comes to traveling the world, they would look for someone who can do it “easily”.
Fatima Bosch and the legal issues surrounding the organization
The tension increased with a question from Lourdes Stephen about accusations linked to Raul Rocha, mentioned as president of Miss Universe, and about investigations and frozen accounts. Stephen asked: “If you had known about all this, would you have participated anyway? Fatima replied that the future cannot be known, that Miss Universe was a dream and that she had nothing to do with outside issues: her job, she said, is to be a voice for women.
When Stephen insisted, Bosch was firmer: she said she had nothing to hide, that she did nothing wrong, that she participated and gave her effort. She also stated that morbidity generates conversation and that, in her opinion, it is sometimes annoying to see a woman win “cleanly” and on her own merit.

At a point already marked by annoyance, Fatima complained that she was not being asked about her work or social causes, but only about controversial issues: “Nobody has asked me what I am doing with my work, what social causes I am going to support, but they only ask me about things that are only controversial”.
Finally, it was mentioned that the Thai Nawat Itsaragrisil had filed a lawsuit against Miss Universe 2025. Bosch denied having any knowledge and said she did not want to talk about it. She affirmed: “I have not defamed anyone, I have not said anything that is not true”. She insisted that there were more important issues to talk about, such as real empowerment and support for women in vulnerable situations.
When questioned about whether the authorities had communicated with her, she closed with a brief phrase: “I have no knowledge of any of that, that is what I can tell you”.
