FIFA officially announced that applications to purchase tickets for the 2026 World Cup will open on September 10, 2025. This edition will be historic for its magnitude: three host countries (USA, Mexico and Canada), 48 teams, 104 matches and more than 6.5 million tickets available.
The tournament will kick off on June 11, 2026 at the Azteca Stadium in Mexico City and will culminate on July 19 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. Tickets will be distributed in phases, due to the enormous global demand anticipated by FIFA.
Advance registration and sales phases

To gain access to the first phase of tickets for the 2026 World Cup, fans must create a FIFA ID and register on the official FIFA portal.
Pre-registered purchasers will be entered into a random drawing for priority access to tickets for specific matches.
The following phases will include:
First-come, first-served sales
Packages by city or selection
Official FIFA-authorized resale
FIFA recommends that fans register as soon as possible, especially those residing in the U.S., as it is the country with the largest number of venues and scheduled matches.
Will there be dynamic pricing?

Although not confirmed, international media reports indicate that FIFA is analyzing the application of dynamic pricing, i.e., tickets whose price rises or falls according to the demand for the match.
This system was tested at the 2025 Club World Cup and could be implemented for key matches at the 2026 World Cup.
Base prices have not yet been disclosed, but a tiered structure by phase, party type and seat location is expected.
Hospitality packages will also be available, including VIP access, catering, exclusive areas and more.
Some of these packages are already on sale starting at approximately US$1,400 per person.
Opportunity for Latinos in the U.S.

U.S. Hispanics have a great opportunity to experience a historic 2026 World Cup without having to travel abroad.
Confirmed venues include Los Angeles, Miami, Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, New York/New Jersey and other cities with a strong Latino presence.
