Beloved Dominican host Francisca (36) recently returned to the set of Despierta America after an unexpected absence that generated speculation among U.S. Hispanic viewers.
Francisca posted an Instagram story where she made something quite clear…. Was her daughter already born? Speculations were not long in coming about the native of the Dominican Republic.
What was the reason for your absence?
On July 16, 2025, Francisca did not appear on the morning program due to a medical emergency that forced her to go to the hospital during the early morning hours.
His partner Raul Gonzalez informed the public: “Our Fran reported early this morning that she had to go to the hospital. God take care of her, bless her, protect her, protect her”.
The drivers also commented enthusiastically about the imminent arrival of their baby, named Rafaella, suggesting that Francisca might be going into labor.
Francisca clarifies: “I’m fine and I came back happy”.
After resting and taking care of her health, Francisca returned to the program with energy and excitement.
She thanked the production and the audience for the messages of affection, and confirmed that both she and her baby are in perfect condition.
Although Rafaella has not yet been born, she said that the family is looking forward to her birth.
The host took the opportunity to share that her pregnancy has been “wonderful, although challenging,” and announced that she will soon join Despierta América again, as she has done on previous occasions after her two previous pregnancies.
