Miley Cyrus appears in character as Hannah Montana in the first trailer for the 20th anniversary special of the Disney series of the same name that catapulted her to fame.
“I’m already getting emotional,” says Miley Cyrus in the first scene of the teaser for ‘Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special,’ coming to the Disney+ platform on March 24, exactly two decades after the show’s debut on Disney Channel.

In it, the ‘Flowers’ singer is seen entering the recording set, Miley Stewart’s home.
A teenager trying to juggle her normal life with her secret identity as the famous pop star Hannah Montana.
It also shows Miley Cyrus spending time with her real-life and fictional father, country musician Billy Ray Cyrus.
With whom she has reconciled after the estrangement the singer had after her mother’s divorce.
The special will feature never-before-seen footage, recreations from the set of the series, iconic moments brought to life as well as signature music from the series.

It will also be filmed live in the Hannah Montana studio and Miley Cyrus will be interviewed by ‘Call Her Daddy’ podcast host Alex Cooper, who is featured in Tuesday’s teaser.
The conversation with the star will be an intimate look at the creation of one of pop culture’s most iconic characters.
As well as the impact the series and the character have had on fans around the world.
Those who will be able to enjoy unpublished archival footage from the series, which aired from March 2006 to January 2011.
