Last Saturday, June 21, 2025, renowned fitness influencer Gloria Zamora, 40, was murdered along with her partner, Hector Garduno, 43, in the parking lot of Summa Sushi restaurant, located in Fontana, California.
The alleged perpetrator of the double homicide was her ex-husband, Thomas Alberto Tamayo Lizárraga, 45, who was shot and killed at the scene by an off-duty San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputy who witnessed the attack.

Gloria Zamora was a mother of seven children, ranging in age from 8 to 24, and had more than 150,000 followers on Instagram, where she shared content related to fitness and personal motivation.

The assailant fatally shot them before being confronted and shot by a passing sheriff’s deputy.
