On the third night of war against Iran and its allies, Saudi Arabia confirmed that the U.S. embassy in Riyadh suffered a drone strike after Washington asked its citizens to immediately leave 14 countries and territories in the Middle East.

Throughout the night, there has been a succession of crossed bombings between Israel and Iran, as well as attacks by Tehran against countries allied to the United States and also a new Israeli offensive against Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, aimed at reaching key structures of the Shiite group Hezbollah.

This is the latest in the war against Iran:

Drone attack on U.S. embassy in Riyadh

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Defense confirmed that the U.S. Embassy in Riyadh was attacked by two drones, resulting in a “small fire and minor material damage to the building,” with no casualties reported.

President Donald Trump declared that “soon” it will be discovered what his retaliation will be for the drone attack on the embassy.

The U.S. State Department asked its citizens to immediately leave 14 countries and territories in the Middle East, including Saudi Arabia, due to “serious risks” to their security.

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced the launch of the thirteenth wave of attacks against U.S. bases in regional countries such as Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates, as well as against Israel.

Qatar claimed to have intercepted two missiles before they hit and Israel reported that they identified missiles launched from Iran into its territory.

Iranian state television targeted by bombing

The Iran Broadcasting Corporation and other areas of Tehran were targeted by new Israeli bombardments, which confirmed additional attacks against targets belonging to the Iranian regime.

Parts of the complex, located in the Evin district in the north of the capital, were hit by shelling, but transmission was not interrupted.

The Israel Defense Forces noted in its statement that the IRIB complex was recently used by Iranian regime forces to “advance military activities under the guise of civilian activities.”

Israel again bombs southern Beirut

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced early Tuesday morning a new wave of attacks against Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, targeting barracks and weapons depots of the Shiite group Hezbollah.

Lebanese media, such as L’Orient-Le Jour, reported explosions in the southern suburbs of the city, the same area that was attacked during the early hours of Monday morning.

Rubio: “The hardest blows” to Iran “are yet to come.”

Secretary of State Marco Rubio assured that the Pentagon’s “hardest blows” against Iran “are still to come” and that the next phase of attacks prepared by Washington “will be even more severe”.

Rubio, who came to the House of Representatives to explain the reasons for the intervention and to address the controversy over having attacked Iran without having asked Congress for permission, said that, ultimately, the U.S. intervention was intended to prevent the ayatollahs’ regime, with whom Washington was negotiating over its atomic program, from “having a nuclear program”.

Oil blockade through the Strait of Hormuz

A general of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard warned that they will not let “even a drop of oil” pass through the Strait of Hormuz and that they will set fire to any ship that tries to cross this strategic route.

Hours earlier, the Revolutionary Guard claimed to have attacked an oil tanker, identified as ‘Athens Nova’, “an ally of the United States”, in the Strait of Hormuz, which burned when hit by two drones.
