During Easter 2025, Ivanka Trump, daughter of U.S. President Donald Trump, was spotted enjoying a family vacation on the beaches of Santa Teresa, on Costa Rica’s Pacific coast.
The businesswoman and former presidential advisor took advantage of her stay to practice surfing, an activity she has adopted as part of her lifestyle focused on wellness and connection with nature; she also uploaded some photos.
Surfing and connection with nature

Ivanka, 43, was photographed gliding over the waves on a blue board, wearing a one-piece swimsuit in shades of black and white, with her hair pulled back in a low ponytail.
The images, captured by media outlets such as TMZ, show Ivanka taking surfing lessons at the Take Off Surf School, located in Playa Hermosa, in the district of Cobano, Puntarenas.
According to Jesús Zabala, owner of the school, Ivanka has been participating in a personalized course since her arrival in the country on April 11.
In another image surfing, she can be seen wearing an orange swimsuit and very happy.
Family vacations
Accompanied by her husband, Jared Kushner, and their three children, Ivanka enjoyed various outdoor activities, such as horseback riding on the beach and jumping in waterfalls.
They were also joined by other members of the Kushner family, including Joshua Kushner and his wife, model Karlie Kloss.
Reflection and spirituality

On her social media, Ivanka shared a thoughtful message about her experience in Costa Rica.
“Spending Passover and Pesach week surrounded by the wild beauty of Costa Rica was a gift beyond words. Time slowed down.
Ivanka also stressed the importance of reconnecting with the Earth, faith and loved ones, concluding her message with a wish for peace and presence for all.
Surfeamos bajo cielos dorados, caminamos por la selva, saltamos en cascadas frías, leímos hasta que el sol se ocultó y nos rendimos a la quietud y al sueño profundo
Costa Rica as a preferred destination
This visit marks the fourth time Ivanka has chosen Costa Rica as a vacation destination in recent years, reaffirming her appreciation for the nature and tranquility that the Central American country offers.
For the U.S. Hispanic community, the choice of Costa Rica by public figures such as Ivanka Trump highlights the country’s growing popularity as a wellness and ecotourism destination.
In addition, its focus on activities that promote connection with nature and family can serve as inspiration for those seeking to balance modern life with moments of introspection and harmony.
