Puerto Rican singer Ivy Queen will headline concerts during Universal Orlando Resort’s Mardi Gras celebrations, which run from February 7 to April 4, and will include parades of floats and performances by other artists, such as pop star Bebe Rexha.
The popular theme park located in Florida will feature 11 live concerts between those dates to commemorate Mardi Gras, a vibrant and colorful holiday that culminates the Carnival season, Universal said in a statement.
In addition to Ivy Queen, who will perform on February 15, and Bebe Rexha, who will perform on March 14, the lineup also includes other notable figures such as DJ and producer Zedd, winner in 2014 of a Grammy Award for Best Dance/Electronic Recording for the track ‘Clarity’, and who will liven up the atmosphere on March 15.

The celebration will be accompanied by a collection of twelve floats “designed to celebrate the vibrant spirit of New Orleans,” the global epicenter of the holiday.
“The dazzling array of floats will wind through the park’s streets, accompanied by energetic street performers, colorful beads flying through the air and energetic live music at every corner,” the release added.
The festival will also have a special section for gastronomy, with a selection of more than 40 dishes inspired by international cuisine for visitors, reported Agencia EFE.
