Colombian artist J Balvin once again made music industry history by reaching his 39th No. 1 hit on Billboard’ s Latin Airplay chart with his latest single “Noventa,” an explosive collaboration with French producer DJ Snake. The song, released in September 2025, jumped from No. 9 to No. 1 in just one week, cementing Balvin as the artist with the most No. 1 hits at Latin radio since 1994, when the chart was created.
The achievement also represents a new milestone for DJ Snake, who adds his fourth consecutive No. 1 on the same chart, reaffirming his status as one of the most influential producers in global music. “Working again with my brother DJ Snake is always amazing and makes this even more special,” stated J Balvin. “I feel grateful to continue making history together and blessed to be able to break my own record with this song.”
Nostalgia, rhythm and unstoppable fusion

I feel grateful
J Balvin
The song “Noventa” pays homage to the musical vibe of the 90’s, combining J Balvin’s signature urban style with Snake’s electronic energy.
The result is a retro yet modern sounding track designed to dominate both the charts and the dancefloors.
During the week of October 3-9, the single posted a 45% increase in audience impressions, reaching more than 8 million listeners on U.S. radio, according to Luminate data.
This momentum was key to the song’s rapid climb to the top of the Latin Airplay chart.
The single will be part of DJ Snake’s highly anticipated album, titled Nomad, which will be released in late 2025 and will feature collaborations with world-class artists.
“J Balvin and I have a special chemistry,” noted DJ Snake.
“From Loco Contigo to Noventa, every time we work together everything flows. To see this song reach number one means a lot to both of us and to our fans.”
Support from radio and Latino audiences

The success of “Noventa” also reflects the strong support of major U.S. Latino broadcasters, especially in key markets with high Hispanic audiences.
Networks such as Univision and stations in cities such as San Jose, Phoenix, Houston and Dallas significantly boosted the topic in rotation.
This new achievement comes almost six years after the two artists’ first major joint hit with “Loco Contigo” (2019), alongside Tyga, which also reached the top spot on the Latin Airplay chart.
Since then, J Balvin has maintained a steady dominance in global urban music and remains one of the most influential Latin artists on the planet.
Throughout his career, the Colombian has collaborated with the likes of Bad Bunny, Rosalia, Beyoncé and Cardi B, and headlined major festivals around the world, including Coachella, Lollapalooza and Tomorrowland.
With “Noventa”, J Balvin not only reaffirms his leadership in the industry, but also demonstrates his ability to reinvent himself and remain relevant more than a decade after his debut.
