Comedian Jimmy Kimmel offered his awards to U.S. President Donald Trump if he withdraws Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents from Minneapolis, after Venezuelan opposition leader María Corina Machado presented him with the Nobel Peace Prize medal as “gratitude” following his actions for the “freedom” of Venezuela.
“I have an offer that I think you’re going to find hard to refuse, but only if you agree to get ICE out of Minneapolis and return them to their rightful quarters. I’m willing to offer you one of the trophies I’ve been honored with over the years,” Kimmel assured during the opening monologue of his show on Thursday.
The comedian joked about the meeting between Machado and Trump and pointed out as something “unique” that a president “rips off someone’s Nobel Prize”.

“Look how happy he looks Have you ever seen anyone happier than him winning this award? And he didn’t even win it,” Kimmel said, looking at the photo of the medal presentation. “He must have gone back to his horrible office sucking on it like it was a pacifier.”
The presenter affirmed that the Venezuelan had given the medal, which she won a few months ago, to Trump because he refused to support her as the new leader of Venezuela, but when he offered her the award, the president agreed to receive it.
“White House security searched her to make sure she brought the award,” he said.
Jimmy Kimmel and the awards he offered to Trump
Kimmel said that giving the Republican an award is “the only way to get him to do something” and so he asked one of his assistants to bring him a display case with some of the awards he has won throughout his career.
He offered him the Daytime Emmy, which he won in 1999 for best game show host.
“Maybe you’d prefer my Clio award for my work selling crap to people? Or my Webby award, the most prestigious award the Internet can bestow. Or my Screenwriters Guild award, this is a good one, you see it’s nice,” he continued.
“Or, better yet I’m willing to present you with my 2015 Soul Train award for white person of the year. Your choice,” he promised.

The comedian assured that if he accepts, he himself would deliver any or all of the awards to him in the Oval Office in exchange for him “leaving the people of Minneapolis alone.”
A few months ago, ABC suddenly suspended ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ after the host criticized the Trump Administration’s response to the murder of ultra-conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
The government threatened to revoke the network’s licenses if they did not punish Kimmel, who returned to the air a week later after a wave of criticism and achieved the highest audience in ten years, reported EFE.
