Julia Argüelles’ participation in La casa de los famosos came to an end after she became the seventh eliminated from the sixth season of the popular Telemundo reality show. The Mexican actress left the competition after not getting enough votes from the audience, in an emotionally charged gala that confirmed how unpredictable this edition has become.

After her elimination, Julia shared her first impressions in an interview with William Valdés for the official podcast of the reality show. The actress confessed that, in a way, she already sensed her exit.
“A lot of emotions… number 7 has always been special to me, so I sensed that it might be my time to come out,” she expressed serenely. Despite this, she was satisfied with her performance within the program.
He acknowledged that, as it was his first reality show, every week he managed to stay on the show represented a personal victory. “I thought I would be out from the first week, so everything I experienced was a gain,” he said with a laugh, making it clear that he faced the experience with total dedication, even if at times he felt he might have exaggerated.
One of the most striking aspects of her participation was the way in which she assumed the role of “villain” within the house, a facet that, as she explained, she is no stranger to. Julia revealed that throughout her acting career she has mostly played antagonistic characters.
“Since I was very young I was typecast in villain roles. Whenever I go to a casting, I always choose that type of character because that’s where I feel most comfortable,” she explained. This previous experience influenced her strategy within the reality show, where she decided to be faithful to that profile that her audience already recognizes.
Far from worrying about criticism, he assured that he was confident that his audience would understand his position within the game and connect with his way of participating.
