The legacy of Filipino boxing is renewed. Jimuel Pacquiao, son of legendary world champion Manny Pacquiao, will make his professional debut on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at the Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula, California. The announcement was made by his own promoter, Manny Pacquiao Promotions(MPP), which also debuts its first official event in North American territory.

Jimuel will face American Brendan Lally, also making his professional debut, in a fight that will open the card and put the spotlight on the 24-year-old who has trained at the Wild Card gym in Los Angeles with trainer Marvin Somodio.

Jimuel Pacquiao, born in Manila but trained in the U.S., spent three years on the amateur circuit before making the jump to the pros.

Although his amateur record is reported at 6-4, specialized sources indicate some ambiguity in the results, which does not diminish his potential.

He trains under the tutelage of Somodio -collaborator of many of boxing’s greats- and has shown an aggressive, fast style with good counterpunching, characteristics very similar to those that defined his father’s career.

His entourage stresses that he is determined to forge his own path and not rely solely on the Pacquiao name.

The Nov. 29 event will not only mark Jimuel’s debut, but also the expansion of Manny Pacquiao Promotions in the U.S.

The card will also include a World Boxing Organization (WBO) featherweight title eliminator between Lorenzo Parra and Elijah Pierce, which raises the level of the event.

For Hispanics living in the U.S., it will be an opportunity to see the birth of a new boxing star with Filipino-Latino heritage, follow the fight on digital platforms with Spanish-language coverage and feel part of sports history.

This debut for Jimuel Pacquiao represents more than just a fight:

It is a transition between generations, a door opening for Hispanic-Filipino talent in U.S. professional boxing.
