Last Sunday, May 25, 2025, five members of the norteño musical group “Fugitivo” disappeared in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, after performing at a private party in the Riberas de Rancho Grande neighborhood.
The musicians, identified as Francisco Xavier Vázquez Osorio (20 years old), Nemesio Antonio Durán Rodríguez (40), Livan Edyberto Solís de la Rosa (27), Víctor Manuel Garza Cervantes (21) and José Francisco Morales Martínez (23), were last seen that night.
Search actions and institutional support

Following a complaint from his relatives, the Tamaulipas State Commission for the Search for Persons issued the corresponding files for his location.
The collective “Love for the Disappeared” also joined the search, coordinating efforts with the State Attorney General’s Office.
On Tuesday, May 27, a black GMC Yukon van, presumably used by the musicians, was reportedly found in the Cañada de Reynosa neighborhood.
Authorities have not confirmed whether the vehicle belongs to the group or provided additional details on its condition.

According to data from the State Search Commission, between March 2024 and January 2025, 1,192 reports of disappearance were registered in the state, of which 453 people were located.

In March 2025, a property with charred skeletal remains was located in the Colinas del Real neighborhood.
