This World Cup 2026 poster was created by the artist Mario Cortés, known as Cuemanche.

He is a graduate of the Faculty of Arts and Design of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).

The poster is dominated by the colors orange, green and purple, and depicts emblematic elements of the Mexican capital.

Such as the Palace of Fine Arts, the Angel of Independence, the Popocatepetl and Iztaccihuatl volcanoes, as well as urban icons such as public transportation.

In the center of the poster is the Mexico City Stadium, the name that the Azteca Stadium will adopt during the tournament, in compliance with FIFA’s commercial regulations.

The stadium will become the only stadium in history to host three World Cup openings (1970, 1986 and 2026).

In this way, it reaffirms its place as a temple of world soccer.
