Mirroring or reality?

Chivas asalta el liderato, pero Álvaro Morales advierte: "Se van a caer"

If there’s one thing we love at QuéOnnda, it’s when the Los Jefes Deportes table gets red hot. In a stellar production by Nueva Network and QuéOnnda, the heavyweights of sports journalism returned to break down a weekend that left Chivas Guadalajara as the new “bosses” of the tournament after defeating Monterrey 3-2.

But, as expected, it’s not all plain sailing when Álvaro “El Brujo” Morales has the microphone.

The Jefes don’t believe in Chivas as a leader

Although Guadalajara boasts 30 points and a style of soccer that many have fallen in love with, Morales was categorical: “It is a lying and fictitious leadership”.

According to the controversial host, El Rebaño was saved by a miracle against Rayados and its downfall is imminent.

Their argument? The forthcoming departures for the National Team will leave Milito’s team “disarmed” just before the Liguilla.

However, Carlos Hermosillo – a goal legend – did not remain silent and jumped to the team’s defense:

“You can’t minimize a team that plays well. Chivas could have scored five goals against Monterrey.

The tension was palpable in the air, demonstrating why this panel rules the sporting opinion.

Tuca, asados and América’s crisis

It wasn’t all drama.

The legendary Ricardo “Tuca” Ferretti spiced up the episode (literally) by sharing his secrets for the perfect asado while celebrating his Pumas’ win over América.

But when talking about the Eagles, the tone changed.

For Dionisio Estrada and the rest of the panel, América is a “total disaster”.

With only 17 points out of a possible 36, Jardine’s three-time champions appear to be in free fall, although Hermosillo warned that “America is like Ancelotti: it looks like he doesn’t coach, but he can still win.

Cruz Azul: Fatigue or excuses from Larcamón?

King Juan Carlos” Hermosillo also put the magnifying glass on his beloved Máquina.

After Nicolás Larcamón complained about the fatigue of playing seven games in 21 days, Hermosillo was lethal: “I’m sick about the fatigue. We preferred to play. Dionisio Estrada joined in the criticism, calling the rotations “cheap excuses”.

An authoritative production

Los Jefes Deportes is not just any program. It’s the gathering of the industry’s heaviest trajectories:

Álvaro Morales: The most provocative and analytical voice in Mexican soccer.

Ricardo “Tuca” Ferretti: Multi-champion and historic strategist who doesn’t buy stories.

Carlos Hermosillo: Mexico’s top goal scorer with undisputed moral authority.

Dionisio Estrada: Firm character and experience in precise data.

The episode is now available on all audio platforms, such as Apple Podcast and Spotify, where you can also listen to other titles promoted by QuéOnnda and Nueva Network, such as Nueva Jugada.

Do you think Álvaro Morales is right and Chivas’ leadership is pure marketing, or is the Rebaño finally ready to become champions?
