With the final of Miss Universe 2025 getting closer and closer, Fátima Bosch, representative of Mexico, continues to consolidate herself as one of the great favorites of the pageant, both for her impeccable performance on stage and for the charisma and professionalism she has shown in each of the official activities carried out in Thailand. Her presence has generated national pride, especially because her participation is based on three fundamental pillars: the massive support of the public, the recognition of specialists in beauty pageants and the unconditional support of her family, which has been a key driving force in this decisive stage.
However, in the midst of the furor over her outstanding participation, an unexpected new protagonist has captured the attention of the contest’s international followers: her brother Bernardo Bosch Fernández, whose name quickly became a trend in Thailand, the Philippines and other regions of Asia.
What started as simple isolated mentions quickly turned into a wave of comments, memes, messages of admiration and even declarations of love from the Thai LGBT+ community and users from all over Asia, who have not hesitated to describe him as “handsome”, “elegant” and “almost as charismatic as Fatima”.
Bernardo, 28, is an industrial engineer from Universidad Iberoamericana and holds a Master’s degree in Governance and Political Communication from George Washington University, which he completed in May 2024. On that day, he shared an emotional message dedicated to his parents: “Today I close an incredible chapter in my life… To my parents: there are no words to thank you for always believing in me and for your constant support. Every challenge I faced was easier knowing that I had their support”.
Originally from Tabasco, he shares with his sister the iconic green eyes that have caught the attention of the international public. Although he had kept a low media profile, his presence in Thailand unexpectedly catapulted him to virality, driven not only by his physical attractiveness, but also by his professional and social trajectory.
Brother of Fatima Bosch: A young man with a social vocation
Beyond the digital furor, Bernardo Bosch dedicates part of his efforts to local politics in Tabasco, where he visits vulnerable communities, listens to needs and promotes social initiatives. In addition, he is actively involved in family businesses related to Brahman cattle breeding, an important tradition in the region.
Since 2024, he has been a columnist for SM Noticias, where he writes about politics, current affairs and social challenges in Mexico, showing a genuine interest in public service.
Bernardo’s popularity reached a new level thanks to a video starring renowned Filipino missologist Pawee Ventura, who, in a festive tone, said in front of Fatima: “I fall in love, I fall in love with your brother”.
The statement provoked thousands of reactions, humorous comments and a wave of “likes”, confirming that the presence of the young man from Tabasco has generated a real phenomenon in social networks during the contest in Bangkok.
Videos and publications shared by Fatima in her networks reveal the close relationship between both brothers. Miss Mexico has emphasized on multiple occasions that the emotional and moral support of her family has been fundamental to remain firm, focused and competitive on her way to the crown.
Thus, while Fatima Bosch advances steadily towards the final on November 21, her brother Bernardo – unintentionally – has become one of the most viral and beloved companions of the contest, adding sympathies that, indirectly, have also strengthened the media presence of the Mexican queen.
