New Epstein emails could reveal more connections to Donald Trump

The publication of three new emails belonging to the files of child molester Jeffrey Epstein, pushed by Democratic lawmakers in the Lower House, could reveal more links of the late tycoon with U.S. President Donald Trump, who denies any closeness with his former ally.

The new findings were shared Wednesday by members of the House Oversight Committee during a review of some 23,000 additional documents on the Epstein case, which has caused intense turmoil among the Republican incumbent’s base.

New Epstein emails come to light

This new revelation coincides with the resumption of sessions in the House of Representatives, where Democrats and several Republicans have been pushing for a vote on the release of Epstein-related records, a procedure that the Republican leadership has managed to delay for the time being.

One of the emails, sent in 2015, illustrates a conversation between Epstein and author and journalist Michael Wolff about an upcoming Trump interview on CNN, in which Wolff advises letting the now-president incriminate himself by denying any relationship with the New York financier.

“I think you should let him single-handedly put the noose around his neck. If he says he wasn’t on the plane or in the house, that gives you a valuable political and PR advantage. You can sink him in a way that potentially benefits you, or, if it really looks like he could win, you could save him, generating a debt,” Wolff wrote.

In another 2011 message sent to Ghislaine Maxwell, an accomplice and partner of the sex criminal, Epstein calls Trump a “dog that doesn’t bark” and claims that Trump spent “hours” at her home with one of the alleged sex trafficking victims, whose name is redacted in the released documents.

The third online missive includes another conversation between Epstein and Wolff, this time dated 2019, when the late tycoon assured that “of course he (Trump) knew about the girls, as he asked Ghislaine to stop.”

Doubts grow as to what else the White House is hiding

“The more Donald Trump tries to cover up the Epstein files, the more we find out,” said – in a statement – Rep. Robert Garcia, the ranking Democratic lawmaker on the Oversight Committee.

According to Garcia, “these latest emails and correspondence raise serious questions about what else the White House is hiding and the nature of the relationship between Epstein and the president.”

Last September, House Democrats released more than 200 pages of a book of Epstein’s 50th birthday greetings, including a lewd drawing attributed to Trump, who adamantly denies authorship of the message with his alleged signature.

Controversy over his closeness to the child molester has dogged Trump since last July when the Justice Department said no more information would be released about the New York financier, who allegedly committed suicide in 2019 while awaiting trial against him.

This move set fire to the MAGA (Make America Great Again) base, staunch supporters of the Republican president, who consider valid theories – to which Trump himself has given support – that Epstein’s client lists included powerful economic and political figures.

Last week, the House Oversight Committee asked Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, brother of King Charles III of England, to appear for interview in the wake of his relationship with Epstein.
