With only 400 days remaining until the start of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, host cities in the United States, Mexico and Canada continue to prepare the festive atmosphere that will characterize this historic edition.

The event, which for the first time will feature 48 teams, will be held in 16 cities across the three countries. And as part of the visual campaign, several of the official posters have already been unveiled, including those for New York/New Jersey and Vancouver, which have caused great excitement among fans.

The official poster for the joint New York/New Jersey headquarters was created by renowned artist Rich Tu, who brought to life a modern, vibrant and deeply urban design.

The work stands out for the use of large letters with the initials “NYNJ”, within which elements of the tournament are incorporated, such as the date and edition of the 2026 World Cup.

In the background, there are blue silhouettes that evoke cultural and sporting aspects, such as soccer boots and nets.

The central element is a raised hand holding a torch with a flame in the shape of a ball, a direct nod to the Statue of Liberty, one of the most representative icons of the region.

This design seeks to reflect the diverse and multicultural energy of the city that never sleeps.

Meanwhile, the Vancouver poster, created by local artist Jazmin Zuroski, adopts a cleaner, more introspective aesthetic.

White, green, blue and black colors predominate, inspired by the natural landscapes of the province of British Columbia.

At the center of the design is a ball surrounded by three triangles symbolizing the connection between land, sea and sky.

This event will be held in 16 cities across the three countries

At the bottom is a whale, which in addition to representing the local fauna, alludes to the indigenous cultures of the Pacific Northwest.

Zuroski commented that his intention was to pay homage to the spiritual connection between the city, nature and its native peoples.

The 2026 World Cup posters are part of FIFA’s official “We Are 26” campaign, launched in 2023.

It has been gradually revealing the visual elements of each venue.

Each city will have its own distinctive image, designed by local artists who seek to capture the unique essence of the place and its link to soccer.

For Hispanic fans living in the United States, these posters represent not only a prelude to the most important tournament on the planet, but also a source of pride and identity.
