In his publications he not only paid tribute to Rubby Pérez – whom he called “one of the greatest voices my Dominican Republic has ever produced” – but also offered prayers for all the victims and their families.

“Today it hurts my soul to receive the news of the passing of our beloved Rubby Pérez,” wrote El Niño Prodigio on Instagram.

“His legacy will live forever in every note, song and Dominican heart that listened to him and loved him,” added the seer.

“I ask God to receive him with honor and peace, as the great artist and human being he was. May his spirit fly high and his voice continue to sing in eternity,” he concluded his message dedicated to Rubby Perez.

“My heart dawned broken and my soul in mourning. Last night, my beloved Dominican people were shaken by a tragedy that has left great pain.”

“An accident has claimed innocent lives and has stained many families with tears. I ask my beings of light, the 21 Divisions, my mysteries, to manifest with mercy, to embrace every mother, father, child, partner and friend who lost a loved one in this tragic event,” added the seer.

“May divine and earthly justice be present,” Florencio also wrote.

El Niño Prodigio closed his message by symbolically lighting a white candle for the departed souls, with an emotional message of unity: “Long live the Dominican Republic, today stronger in unity, prayer and love”.
