Super Bowl LX, to be held at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, in February 2026, could feature one of the most recognizable voices in contemporary music – Adele.
According to Page Six, the 37-year-old British performer was reportedly contacted by the event’s organizers to headline the halftime show, one of the most watched television moments on the planet.
Adele and the 2017 precedent

According to sources consulted, negotiations with Adele are still at a preliminary stage, with no signed contract or official announcement.
However, the rumors have gained traction due to the influence of her fiancé, Rich Paul, a well-known sports agent and founder of Klutch Sports Group, who has a wide network of contacts in the NFL.
The couple has been spotted at several editions of the Super Bowl as an attending audience, fueling speculation about a possible more direct connection of Adele to America’s most important sporting event.
It would not be the first time that the name of the interpreter of Hello and Someone Like You appears linked to the halftime show. In 2017, Adele publicly revealed that she had been invited to headline the show, but decided to decline the offer. At the time, she explained her reasons:
“That show is not really about music. I don’t know how to dance or anything like that. They were very nice, they asked me, but I said no.”
Her statements made it clear that, despite her enormous vocal talent and international success, Adele did not consider herself the right artist for a highly visual and choreographed show like the Super Bowl.
If it’s not her, then who?

In addition to Adele, other names of artists who could headline the 2026 Halftime Show are circulating strongly. Among them stand out:
Taylor Swift, who is at the peak of her career after the worldwide success of The Eras Tour and the upcoming release of her album The Life of a Showgirl. The artist herself has left “easter eggs” in interviews and publications that many fans interpret as clues about her participation.
Miley Cyrus, another recurring favorite in fan polls, thanks to her stage versatility and recent hits like Flowers, which position her as one of the most influential voices of her generation.
Traditionally, the NFL and Apple Music, the show’s official sponsor, announce the headlining artist for the halftime show around November, which means fans will have to wait a few more weeks to find out the final headliner.
In the meantime, expectations are growing: will Adele be in charge of setting a milestone with her voice at Super Bowl LX or will we see another world pop star occupy that historic stage?
What is certain is that, whatever the name announced, the show promises to be one of the most talked about and followed events of 2026.
