Roland Mehrez Beainy, owner of a pro-Trump-themed burger chain called Trump Burger, could be deported from the U.S., despite his fervent admiration for the president.
Beainy, 28, a native of Lebanon, was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement(ICE) in May 2025 for overstaying his nonimmigrant visa, which expired in February 2024.
Deportation for ‘Trump Burger’ owner

According to official reports, Beainy entered the country in 2019 on a visitor’s visa, but did not renew it or leave the country, thus violating his immigration status.
DHS also alleges that she filed a marriage-based residency application (I-130), but it was revoked after concluding that the marriage was fraudulent; there was no proof of cohabitation, and even family members of the alleged spouse confirmed it.
An ICE spokesperson emphasized that “this person does not have a green card, has a history of illegal marriages and an assault charge. ICE enforces the law regardless of your political beliefs or businesses you own.”
Current legal status and next legal steps

Following his arrest, Beainy was released on bond in June and is scheduled for an immigration hearing on November 18, 2025 in Houston.
Meanwhile, he continues to be embroiled in civil legal disputes: he faces litigation over franchise control, lease disputes and a rebranding of the Kemah location as “MAGA Burger.”
What does this case represent for the Hispanic community?

Symbolic hypocrisy: An openly pro-Trump business does not guarantee immunity from the current administration’s harsh immigration policy-a clear warning to those who believe that political affinity can protect against legal breaches.
Visibility of the real consequences of the immigration system: Immigrant owners face consequences if they violate essential rules such as visa expiration or legal deception, regardless of their public profile.
ICE’s determination to enforce the law: The case underscores that don’t matter your political leanings-ICE in 2025 is active in enforcing immigration law, even against figures known to support the administration.
Muchos fanáticos de Trump han enfrentado las políticas del mandatario y varios de ellos incluso han sido arrestados y deportados
Nor because he is a Trump fan
Roland Beainy, co-owner of Trump Burger in Texas, faces possible deportation for overstaying his visa, engaging in a fraudulent marriage and lacking legal status.
Although an outspoken advocate of Trump’s policies, his situation demonstrates that the immigration system is applied without distinguishing ideologies.
With a hearing pending in November, his case will be watched as a reflection of how political discourse does not prevent compliance with the law.
