The Indiana Pacers are one win away from reaching the NBA Finals for the first time since 2000 after defeating the New York Knicks 130-121 in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals. Point guard Tyrese Haliburton was the standout as he recorded a triple-double of 32 points, 15 assists and 12 rebounds without committing a turnover, an unprecedented feat in playoff history since such statistics began to be recorded in the 1977-78 season.

Game 5 will be played this Thursday, May 29, at Madison Square Garden in New York at 8:00 p.m. ET, broadcast on TNT, truTV and MAX.

The Indiana Pacers have won six consecutive away games in the playoffs, putting them just two wins away from tying the NBA single postseason record.

Knicks in critical situation

The Knicks face a complicated situation, as they are down 3-1 in the series and could be eliminated if they lose the next game.

Karl-Anthony Towns, who has averaged 25.8 points and 11.5 rebounds in the series, is doubtful for Game 5 due to a left knee contusion suffered in Game 4.

His absence would be a significant blow to New York, which has already had trouble containing the Indiana Pacers offense.

Coach Tom Thibodeau has tried different combinations in the lineup.

Including the addition of Mitchell Robinson alongside Towns to strengthen the defense in the paint.

However, 17 turnovers in Game 4 resulted in 20 points for the Indiana Pacers.

Evidencing the need to improve ball control and defensive efficiency.
