A toxic love

“El Diablo” crudely addresses the emotional cycle of a toxic relationship, that back-and-forth between wanting to forget someone and still being trapped in their memory.

Ramón Vega explained that the theme portrays a common situation in today’s youth:

“It’s a heartbreak song that tells of the disillusionment that can be caused by a toxic love that seeks not to disappear by playing with the illusion of a boy who simply doesn’t want to stop thinking about his crush.”

With enveloping sounds and a mix of sensual electric guitars, suggestive percussion and a drum and bass rhythmic base, the song emotionally explores the dark side of an intense attraction.

El Malilla’s touch, with its raw, urban style, adds contrast and reinforces the theme’s narrative.

In March, Ramón Vega had already released “PA MIS CABALLOS”, together with producer Trooko, an emotional song that pays tribute to his loved ones.

At only 19 years old, Ramón Vega is recognized as the first Mexican Music artist signed by Sony Music at such a young age.

Originally from Ciudad Obregón, Sonora, he fuses traditional genres such as regional Mexican with elements of trap, reggaeton and alternative pop.

It has established itself as an innovative voice for a growing bicultural audience between Mexico and the United States.

His musical approach connects him with young Hispanics in the U.S. who are looking for authentic sounds, with lyrics that reflect real emotions and culturally relatable language.
