U.S. rapper Offset is recovering in a Florida state hospital after being shot Monday and, according to a spokesman for the artist, is in stable condition.
According to Seminole police reports, two people have been arrested in connection with the incident, the investigation into which is ongoing, according to ABC News.
“We can confirm that Offset was shot and is currently in the hospital receiving medical attention. His condition is stable and he is being closely monitored,” his spokesperson told the channel.
How did Offset get shot and wounded?
The singer, whose legal name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, was injured Monday during a shooting after 7 p.m. local time (23.00 GMT) in a parking lot of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
The musician was married for 7 years to the famous rapper Cardi B, with whom he has two children.
One of his fellow members of the rap group Migos, Takeoff, was shot dead in November 2022, reported Agencia EFE.
