Puerto Rican singer Rauw Alejandro will make his film debut in Guy Ritchie’s ‘Viva La Madness’, whose production began in January this year, Sony Music revealed Wednesday.
‘Viva La Madness’ was written by Ritchie and J.J. Connolly, directed by Ritchie, and is based on Connolly’s novel of the same name.
The film stars Jason Statham and features Jason Isaacs, Vinnie Jones, Babs Olusanmokun, Camila Mendes, Emmy winner Ben Foster, and Jonny Lee Miller in its cast.

Production company Black Bear will distribute the film in the United States, while Amazon MGM Studios will distribute in most international territories.
Rauw Alejandro, a two-time Latin Grammy winner, joins other Puerto Rican singers who have made their film debuts, such as Bad Bunny and Residente.
His acclaimed album ‘Cosa Nuestra’ competed in the Best Latin Pop Album category at the Grammy Awards, reported Agencia EFE, while his ‘Cosa Nuestra World Tour’ sold almost one million tickets at 75 concerts in the United States, Europe and Latin America.
