Like pilgrims of a new religion, that of music and Rosalía’s new aesthetic, several hundred people lined up this afternoon in Lyon, hours before the first concert of the ‘Lux’ tour, with lots of white clothes, dyed yellow crowns in their hair and angel wings.
French and Spanish were the most widely spoken languages in the relatively modest line of people who preferred to come early to the LDLC Arena, which seats about 15,000 people and was the venue chosen by the Catalan artist to kick off the expected tour of 42 concerts that will take her through Europe and America.
“My expectations are that it will be the best concert of my life. I’m sorry Rosalía, I’m sorry for the responsibility,” joked Julia, who recently arrived at the LDLC Arena with her partner, Nere, with whom she traveled to Lyon from Oviedo because they both declare themselves “big fans” of the ‘Motomami’ and ‘El mal querer’ singer, especially for the depth of her creative vision, in statements to EFE.
The two were dressed in the shirt of the Barcelona Football Club, another piece of clothing that could be seen in the line, although white was the predominant color chosen by fans to accompany this ‘era’ of the fourth studio album Rosalía (San Esteban Sasroviras, 1992).

Iker, a 21-year-old student from Galicia, and Kelian, a 22-year-old Frenchman, were dressed as angels at the front of the queue, right next to the official tour merchandise store, where the most eye-catching item was a long hooded sweatshirt in the shape of a beak – similar to a nun’s veil – ahead of the T-shirts with the legend ‘Red flag andante’.
“I wanted to go to the first date, without spoilers, so I wouldn’t have to go around skipping videos or blocking people,” Íker told EFE with a laugh.
It’s a costly journey, admitted this young Spaniard, but it’s worth it “if it’s your passion”. And it is, he stressed, especially because of all the expectations that Rosalía has generated around the show and even more so, if possible, after her spectacular performance at the BRIT Awards, where she also won International Artist of the Year.
Rosalía and her LUX Tour: An all-round artist who also makes mistakes
“It’s like a dream that has come true and I’m very, very happy to be here,” explained Carolina, also dressed entirely in white, a Portuguese woman who lives in Lyon and who anticipated an unforgettable concert judging by the little that the artist herself, “a goddess”, has been revealing in her networks.
For Sybil, a French fan who had come with several family members who had given her a surprise ticket for Christmas, the best thing about the Spanish singer-songwriter is that she “tries new things with audacity”, but also “with a lot of talent”.
“She has her own character, her own way of doing dance, of singing, of writing songs,” he reflected in line at the LDLC Arena.
Rosalía’s faithful were also not put off by the controversies raised throughout the intense promotion of ‘Lux’, which had its last chapter with her words of admiration for Pablo Picasso, confessing that she did not mind separating the artist from the work.

He retracted this same weekend in a video on TikTok, thanking his fans for letting him know that there were real accusations of abuse of women by the artist from Malaga.
“She seems to me to be a very necessary character. She is human, because she makes mistakes, she doesn’t know everything. She gets wet, she rectifies. I think she has a very complex role, now that everything is under scrutiny,” said Nere, wearing her ‘Motomami’ T-shirt.
After Lyon, Rosalía will be in Paris on March 18 and 20, then in Zurich and Milan, with a single concert in each city, and her next stop will be Madrid, with concerts on March 30 and April 1, 3 and 4 at the Movistar Arena.
After two concerts in Lisbon on April 8 and 9, reported Agencia EFE, the Catalan artist will perform in Barcelona on April 13, 15, 17 and 18 at the Palau Sant Jordi.
