The sons of Colombian superstar Shakira and former Spanish soccer player Gerard Piqué have taken their first step into the world of music. Milan, 12, and Sasha, 10, debuted with the track The One, a song in which Milan acts as vocalist and composer, while Sasha demonstrates his talent as a drummer.
The song was released as part of a special project of the Let it Beat Academy, an Argentine music foundation that seeks to promote promising young artists between the ages of 10 and 20. The production also features the collaboration of singer Mila V. and is part of the album ALL FOR YOU, which is already available on platforms such as YouTube, where it has surpassed 150,000 views in just a few days.

The song was released this May 11, coinciding with Mother’s Day in countries such as the United States.
Shakira, visibly excited, shared a clip of the video clip on her Instagram account with the message, “What a beautiful gift for this day!”, making clear the pride she feels for her children and her artistic foray.
Milan and Sasha’s official debut took place days before during a gala in Miami organized by Let it Beat Academy.
At the event, Shakira herself was captured clapping with emotion as the children performed the single live in front of an audience that was quick to give them a standing ovation.
Shakira: proud mom and star on tour
This family moment comes just as Shakira prepares for an intense U.S. tour with her Women Don’t Cry Anymore tour, which kicks off May 13 in Charlotte, North Carolina.
As part of the show, the Spanish singer Alejandro Sanz is expected to make a special appearance.
The tour will cover several regions of the country: it will first tour the East Coast until June 7, then Texas from June 11 to 15, and will conclude the U.S. leg on June 30 in San Francisco, California.
Afterwards, Shakira will resume the tour in Latin America.
On August 11, it will kick off in Tijuana, Mexico, and will visit other cities such as Hermosillo, Monterrey, Guadalajara, Mexico City, Querétaro and Puebla, where it will close the Mexican stage on September 12.

Their participation in a project that combines arts education and youth empowerment has been enthusiastically received by Shakira’s fans around the world.
