The U.S. Hispanic community celebrated this Friday, July 25, the birth of Raffaella Eleanor Zampogna, Francisca’s third child, on Despierta America.
The announcement came during a special call to the program from the Miami hospital where the presenter gave birth on Thursday morning, July 24. Jessica Rodriguez shared the news with excitement: “Raffaella was born, our niece was born… Raffaella is a very blessed baby girl.
Emotional details of Francisca’s birth

Francisca revealed endearing details about her experience: she arrived at the hospital around 6:00 a.m. with eight centimeters dilated, and after only three pushes, she was able to receive her daughter with her own hands.
“I took it out and put it on my chest…so strong, so pretty,” she shared with laughter.
Still hospitalized, she proudly showed the first images of Raffaella’s face, highlighting her tenderness and physical resemblance to her eldest son.
Older sister of Gennaro and Franco

Raffaella joins as younger sister of Gennaro, who is 4 years old, and Franco, 1 year old.
Francisca had already expressed her dream of having a girl and confirmed that this would be her last pregnancy, living the culmination of a longed-for family history.
Cultural and emotional significance to its U.S. audience.

For many Latino families in cities like Miami, New York or Los Angeles, Raffaella represents:
Multiculturality in family identity: with Italian and Hispanic names, it reflects the combination of roots experienced by migrants.
Female empowerment: Francisca is an active mother in the midst of her career, setting an example of balance between work and family life.
Positive media visibility: her natural recovery and the presentation of her family reinforce the representation of successful and real Latina moms.

The voice of a conscious mother
During her pregnancy and already a mother, Francisca shared reflections on identity and internal racism: in networks she expressed past fears about her children’s skin color and assured that today she is comfortable with her shell of a racialized mother.
The emotional closeness with her followers was constant, including moments of tears during television dynamics when talking to her daughter in her womb.
Francisca will have several weeks off before returning to the sets of Univision.
Her colleagues from Despierta América have already said goodbye to her with messages of affection and support.
Professionally, she is considering future projects from Miami, planning to combine her mothering role with television and family entertainment activities.
