Colombian artist Silvestre Dangond launched this Thursday ‘Ganas de Tenerla’, a song that unites music and soccer and whose video clip has as its central figure the Bayern Munich and Colombian national team player Luis Diaz, in a festive bet prior to the 2026 World Cup.
“Silvestre Dangond guides the story as the common thread until the climactic moment when Lucho Díaz appears, joins the dance and joins the party, visually sealing the connection between music and sport,” the artist’s press team said in a press release.

The collaboration “connects two of the most representative forces of Colombian culture: music and soccer,” through a proposal that seeks to transmit unity, identity and national pride in a festive and contemporary tone.
The video tells the story of a young man who dreams of becoming a professional soccer player and walks through streets adorned with flags of different countries, in the midst of collective celebrations.
This is not the first time Díaz has been linked to a musical project, as in 2024 he had sung several verses of the song ‘El ritmo que nos une’ (The rhythm that unites us), by reguetonero Ryan Castro.
In December of last year he released ‘La promesa’ (The promise), a song in gratitude for the moment he is living in and out of the courts.
On this occasion, the soccer player does not sing with Dangond, but participates actively in the video clip and appears at the end with the singer in a soccer stadium.
“The anticipation around the launch began on TikTok, when Silvestre shared the first previews of the song and the dance, achieving a rapid viralization,” added his team.
The song was composed by Dangond with Andrés Castro and Juan Daniel Shool, and produced in Miami, with a contemporary sound that connects with the roots of vallenato.
With this release, Dangond adds a new musical proposal for the 2026 World Cup, in which Colombia will be part of group K along with Portugal, Uzbekistan and the winner of the intercontinental playoff between New Caledonia, Congo and Jamaica.
As part of his musical tour ‘El Último Baile’, which has sold over 500,000 tickets in more than 15 stadiums in Colombia, the vallenato icon will perform in the U.S. cities of Atlanta, Orlando, Miami, Chicago, Newark and Dallas between March 5 and 14.
