Colombian reggaeton artist Feid presented his new single, ‘Monstruo’, live on Wednesday, together with Puerto Rican producer Tainy, in a massive free event held in front of the Palacio de la Cultura in Medellín, his hometown.

Hundreds of fans gathered at Plaza Botero, enduring the heavy rain and long lines, to accompany the artist, who appeared with his characteristic green accessories: belt, cap and shoes.

The event served as a preview of the official release of ‘Monstruo’, the first preview of the upcoming album by Tainy, who has produced hits such as ‘Callaíta’ and Bad Bunny’s latest album, ‘Debí tirar más fotos’.

During a brief presentation of barely fifteen minutes, Salomón Villada, as Feid is really called, performed some of his best known songs, such as ‘Ferxxo 100’, which he sang a cappella, and ‘A mí también’, a collaboration with Tainy and Álvaro Díaz.

On the small stage, the artist thanked the enthusiasm of his followers and the support of his city.

“It’s a ‘chimba’ (excellent) that you chose Medellín to present this song,” expressed Feid, excited, while on a large canvas the video of the single was projected after a countdown that had kept the expectation throughout the day.

Feid, one of the most internationally known exponents of the urban genre, usually offers his fans free urban meetings to present his recordings.

The last two took place in Bogota in August, in a coffee party format, and in April this year in Medellin, reported Agencia EFE, when he presented live ‘Ferxxo Vol. 1.0’, an album that he had not been able to share with his audience in person because it coincided with the pandemic.
