The Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Miami Dolphins 28-15 on Monday to remain atop the American Conference North division at the close of Week 15 of the NFL season.
The Steelers have eight wins and six losses, in first place in their division, which today has them among the teams that qualify for the playoffs. The Dolphins are 6-8, in third place in the AFC East, with no chance of reaching the postseason.
Rodgers withstands the pressure

Aaron Rodgers led the Steelers in the win with 224 yards passing and two touchdown catches.
Defenses dominated the first half.
With the Dolphins, Tua Tagovailoa struggled with pressure, being caught four times in the game, which prevented him from being accurate in his deliveries.
He was intercepted by Asante Samuel in the first quarter.
Miami took an 0-3 lead on a 54-yard field goal by Riley Patterson in the second quarter.
With the Steelers, Rodgers was harassed by opposing linemen intensely; he was caught twice.
He only passed for 90 yards, despite that, on their last series he managed to set up a five-minute offensive drive that went 60 yards to Connor Heyward’s touchdown on the ground that gave them a 7-3 lead before halftime.
Steelers seal the game

In the third quarter, the Dolphins’ offense remained inoperative and their defense buckled down.
Pittsburgh took advantage of this to take a 21-3 lead thanks to a pair of runs to the diagonal that were caught by Marquez Valdes-Scantling and DK Metcalf.
The Steelers kept up the intensity at the start of the final period, when a Jonnu Smith carry increased the lead to 28-3.
Miami had a late comeback with two touchdown passes to Darren Waller that brought them within 28-15.
This after failing on the two-point conversion attempt both times.
At halftime of the duel, former Super Bowl XL and XLIII champion Ben Roethlisberger, Super Bowl XL champion Joey Porter and nine-time Pro Bowl champion Maurkice Pouncey were honored as inductees into the Pittsburgh Steelers Hall of Fame.
