The premiere of the reality show ¡Apostarías por mí? this Sunday made it clear that the competition will not let up. From the first minute, the 12 celebrity couples were subjected to challenges, public voting and the formation of the first hierarchies within the villa. Unlike other formats that allow for an adaptation stage, here the participants got right into the action, with tests that set the tone for the inaugural week.
The pairs arrived with a base purse of US$10,000, money that will be key for strategic bets throughout the program. However, that figure quickly changed after the first challenges, which tested the coordination, communication and teamwork of each pair.

The first challenges of ‘Will you bet on me?
Before officially settling into the villa, the contestants faced three consecutive challenges whose results directly impacted their initial capital, room assignments and access to the coveted Diamond Suite. In these challenges, three couples managed to win and raise their purse up to US$15,000, while others were left at a disadvantage with only US$5,000, placing them in a vulnerable position from the start.
The winning teams of this first stage were Franco Tradardi and Breh, René Strickler and Rubí Cardozo, as well as Jim Velásquez and Alina Lozano. With this, they secured a privileged place in the first public vote, carried out exclusively through the ViX platform.
After the update of the purses, the weekly ranking was headed by the three winning couples with 15 thousand dollars, followed by several teams with 10 thousand and, finally, three duos at the bottom with just 5 thousand. This order not only reflects the economic situation of each couple, but also influences cross-betting, weekly immunity and rest conditions within the village.

The audience played a decisive role from the beginning. Among the three winning couples, the public chose the duo of René Strickler and Rubí Cardozo as the favorite. Thanks to this endorsement, they obtained two key benefits: exclusive access to the Diamond Suite, which offers greater privacy and comfort, and the right to assign the rooms of the rest of the participants during the first week.
The format of the reality show is organized in weekly cycles that start with a Couples Challenge, followed by bets and competitions that modify the ranking and nominations. Voting takes place only on ViX, where Premium subscribers can cast up to 10 votes per day from Thursday to Sunday.
