The Killers to light up the Champions League final

To be played in Budapest

The American band ‘The Killers’ will open the opening show of the Champions League final on May 30 at the Puskás Aréna in Budaspest (Hungary).

To announce the show, The Killers star in a short film titled “The Race Begins” with former England footballer David Beckham and chronicles the run-up to the Champions League final.

Promises an epic show

“When they proposed it to us (…) we accepted without hesitation.”

“There are scenarios that speak for themselves. It’s an honor to celebrate these incredible teams and players in what will undoubtedly be an epic match.”

The Killers stated in the statement regarding their participation in the Champions League final

The Killers are an iconic band whose energy will create the perfect atmosphere in Budapest,” said UC3 co-CEO Guy Laurent.
