Hours after the fight, which ended with a unanimous decision in favor of Crawford (116-112, 115-113 and 115-113), Fernanda Gomez shared on her Instagram account a strong and emotional message addressed to her husband:
Con la frente en alto siempre. Esto no te define, nadie te quita tu trayectoria de tantas victorias y alegrías que le has regalado a México y a tanta gente. Eres un hombre ejemplar en toda la extensión de la palabra
Fernanda Gómez
The Mexican businesswoman and influencer stressed that the boxer ‘s career is not erased with a setback, recalling the multiple victories that have given pride to Mexican fans inside and outside the country.
Family pride and thanks to fans

In his publication, Gomez also highlighted Canelo’s inspirational role, not only for those around him on a personal level, but also for millions of fans around the world:
“You are an inspiration to all of us around you and to many people, and nothing and no one changes that.”
He also gave special thanks to the fans who have accompanied the boxer throughout his career:
“Thanks to all the people for their support and affection, there is no doubt that Mexican fans are the best 🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽 #TEAMCANELO!!!”.
This gesture reflects Canelo’s connection with the Mexican and Latino community in the United States, where thousands of fans gathered in cities such as Los Angeles, Houston and Chicago to follow the fight as part of the Grito de Independencia celebrations.
“Proud to be your wife.”

The most intimate part of the message was dedicated to his family, with a direct recognition of the bond that unites her to the boxer:
“Proud to be your wife. We love you Eva, Beba & Maria”.
With this statement, Fernanda reaffirmed the fundamental role of family in Canelo’s life.
This at a time when the boxer is facing one of the toughest defeats of his professional career.
The mention of his daughters -Eva Victoria, just five weeks old; María Fernanda, seven years old; and “Beba”, as he affectionately calls his little girl- shows that the family nucleus remains the main support of the champion from Guadalajara.
A message that resonates beyond the ring
Fernanda Gómez’s post was quickly shared and commented on by thousands of followers on social networks, who highlighted the importance of this support at a time of sporting vulnerability.
“Fer- you have nothing to be ashamed of, we are very proud of Saul. Enjoy your winnings,” wrote a follower.
“Many victories won, effort and professionalism, you are a great winner Canelo,” was another of the comments.
“Bravo to this family!!!! Always supporting the champion through thick and thin,” wrote another of Fernanda Gómez’s followers.
“For the Kings there are never defeats only more wisdom and learning, YOU ARE AND WILL BE OUR GREAT MEXICAN PRIDE VMC!!!!! TEAM ALVAREZ ALWAYS,” wrote someone else.
While Crawford celebrates his historic feat as the first undisputed champion in three divisions, Fernanda’s message reminded us that, beyond titles and belts, Canelo Alvarez retains the most valuable thing: the support of his family and a fan base that continues to see him as a benchmark in Mexican and world boxing.
