This July 8, 2025 will remain engraved in the memory of Cubans inside and outside the island. Lina Luaces, daughter of famous TV host Lili Estefan, was crowned Miss Universe Cuba 2025 during an emotional ceremony at Milander Park in Hialeah, Florida.
At only 22 years old, Lina positioned herself as a favorite since the early stages of the pageant and today she is officially the Cuban representative for the Miss Universe pageant, to be held in November in Thailand.
Represented Santiago de Cuba

During the Miss Universe Cuba 2025 pageant, Lina represented Santiago de Cuba and faced a tight competition.
In addition to winning the main title, she was recognized as Miss Press, reflecting the support she received from the media specialized in beauty and Latin culture.
Her presentation was impeccable, standing out for her confidence, charisma, stage presence and speech focused on the empowerment of Latin women.

Undoubtedly, one of the most emotional moments of Miss Universe Cuba 2025 was starred by Lili Estefan.
Upon hearing her daughter’s name as the winner, the TV host burst into tears of joy and pride.

On the road to Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand

This year, Miss Universe will be held in November in Thailand.
It will be the second consecutive time that Cuba participates after its return to the competition in 2024 after an absence of more than 50 years.
Lina will immediately begin intensive preparation: catwalk classes, physical training, public image strategy and charitable activities.
Her goal is not only to conquer the international stage, but to become a voice of inspiration for Latino youth in the United States, especially those women who seek to stand out without losing their cultural identity.
