Colombian singer Shakira has successfully kicked off her long-awaited “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour”, marking her return to the stage after seven years.

The tour kicked off on February 11, 2025 at the Nilton Santos Olympic Stadium in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where more than 47,000 fans gathered to witness an unforgettable show.

Before taking the stage, Shakira shared an emotional message through her social media from her dressing room, highlighting the 12 months of hard preparation to deliver the best show of her life.

In his words, he reminded his followers that “perfection does not exist”, but assured that he would give his all, taking with him the experience and the marks of his battles.

The concert, which lasted approximately two and a half hours, included a careful selection of his greatest hits, as well as songs from his most recent album.

The production stood out for its impressive staging, with 13 costume changes that reflected Shakira’s artistic evolution throughout her career.

Among the most outstanding outfits were two exclusive designs by renowned Indian designers.

The first, a sculptural blue tunic with a metallic breastplate molded to Shakira’s measurements, was the work of Gaurav Gupta Couture and required more than 600 hours of work.

This design symbolized the artist’s instinctive energy and indomitable spirit, incorporating a wolf motif that reflected her inner strength.

The second outfit, created by Anamika Khanna, consisted of a red two-piece ensemble adorned with intricate hand embroidery and Swarovski crystals, representing passion and power, and took over 120 hours to make.

A particularly touching moment of the show was the performance of “Acróstico”, during which a virtual participation of her children, Milan and Sasha, was projected, deeply moving the audience present.

The “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour” will continue its tour through various cities in Latin America, including performances in São Paulo, Lima, Bogota, Santiago and Buenos Aires.

Shakira will then take her show to North America, with dates scheduled in Mexico, the United States and Canada, concluding on June 30, 2025 in San Francisco.

Demand for tickets has been overwhelming, with 18 dates selling out in less than two hours and more than 950,000 tickets sold to date.

This success reflects the Colombian singer’s continued relevance and impact on the global music scene.

With this tour, Shakira not only celebrates her artistic career, but also promotes a message of empowerment and resilience, connecting deeply with her fans through her music and stage presence.
