Tom Holland had to be rushed to the hospital after suffering a mild concussion during the filming of the new Spider-Man installment, but is expected to be able to return to work in a “few days”, according to several U.S. media reports.

Holland was injured on Friday while performing a stunt during filming, which is currently underway at Leavesden Studios in Watford, northwest London.

Filming was suspended so that the British actor could be treated and it was decided that he would take a few days off, but he is doing well.

Even the day after the incident, Holland attended with his girlfriend, Zendaya, a charity gala at Christie’s auction house in London.

According to sources cited by Deadline, a meeting will be held this Monday to adjust the film’s shooting schedule, which began last month in Scotland.

‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ is the fourth installment of the Spider-Man saga starring Holland following ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ (2017), ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ (2019) and ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ (2021), which was the highest-grossing film worldwide, grossing $1.91 billion.

A figure that places it as the eighth highest grossing film in the history of cinema.

The new installment will be released in July 2026, Sony Pictures announced last year, reported Agencia EFE.
