Colombian singer Carlos Vives announced on Monday his tour ‘Tour al sol 2026′, which will tour cities in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico between April and June of next year.
Vives will perform in Toronto, Montreal, New York, New Orleans, Chicago, Miami and San Juan, among other locations.
The repertoire of the concerts will range from Vives’ early hits and songs from his album ‘La tierra del olvido’, which this year celebrates 30 years since its release, to his most recent productions, with a visual montage around the iconic sun of La Provincia, the historic band that accompanies the artist.

Vives, recognized for his contribution to Latin music and his revival of vallenato for more than three decades, has received 18 Latin Grammy Awards and two Grammy Awards, in addition to being named ‘Person of the Year’ in 2024 by the Latin Recording Academy.
According to Agencia EFE, the artist recently participated in ‘Somos más’, Telemundo’s official theme song for the 2026 World Cup, along with singers Wisin, Emilia and Xavi, which premiered in October during the Billboard Latin Music Awards gala.
