On September 15, 2025, Newsweek and Plant-A Insights Group released its inaugural ranking of the 500 Best Companies for Hispanics and Latinos in the U.S., highlighting inclusive workplaces for a rapidly growing workforce.
With 31.8 million Hispanics representing 19% of the workforce in 2023, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, these companies lead in diversity. Here are the top companies and the criteria that make them stand out.
Hispanic workforce growth

The U.S. Hispanic population has driven a 69% increase in its labor force since 2003, ten times more than non-Hispanics, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
This growth, which encompasses 31.8 million workers, reflects immigrants’ search for better opportunities.
In 2024, Hispanics held 30% of construction jobs and 25% of hospitality jobs, according to Hispanic-Jobs.
Companies are now competing to attract this talent with inclusive environments.
Ranking methodology
Newsweek’s ranking evaluated more than 40,000 companies with more than 1,000 employees, using public data, interviews with human resources professionals and surveys of 47,000 Hispanic workers.
120 key indicators were analyzed, such as compensation, work-life balance and career development, according to Plant-A Insights Group.
The surveys, which included 700,000 reviews, prioritized Latino employees’ perspectives on organizational culture and working conditions.
Leaders in inclusion

Accordingly, Colorado-based 1st Bank tops the list, employing between 2,500 and 5,000 Hispanics and offering competitive salaries, according to Newsweek.
It is followed by ACAC Fitness & Wellness Centers in Virginia, recognized for its inclusive environment.
Third, ACCU Staffing in New Jersey stands out for facilitating employment opportunities for immigrants.
These companies stand out for their diversity policies and benefits, such as flexible schedules and training programs.
Technology and healthcare giants

On the other hand, Adobe, in California, ranks fourth, with more than 20,000 Hispanic employees and a focus on technology innovation, according to the ranking.
Adventist Health Partners, a nonprofit health system on the West Coast and Hawaii, rounds out the top five, with 20,000 Latino workers.
In 2024, the technology sector employed 8% of Hispanics, a 2% increase over 2023, according to Hispanic-Jobs, while healthcare remains a mainstay for this community.
Other companies of note
However, giants such as Amazon and Apple are also among the top 15, recognized for their professional development programs and benefits such as bonuses and health plans, according to Newsweek.
Cedars-Sinai, JetBlue and JPMorgan Chase complete the list, standing out for their commitment to inclusion.
By 2025, 60% of Hispanic employees value work-life balance, according to a HispanicAd study, prompting these companies to adapt their policies.
Impact on the Hispanic community
Moreover, the ranking comes at a critical time, as Hispanic job satisfaction has fallen since 2018, according to the Hispanic Sentiment Study 2025.
Outstanding companies counter this trend by providing environments that respect cultural values and promote equity.
In 2024, 40% of U.S. Hispanics were working in essential jobs, according to the Pew Research Center, underscoring the importance of these opportunities.
