Official Rules and Regulations for the “NEW Latino Artist of the Year” Contest

1. Eligibility:
The NEW Latino Artist of the Year contest (the “Contest”) is open to residents of the United States and who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of Nueva Network, Que Onnda, and their immediate families and household members are not eligible.
2. Contest Period:
The Contest begins on March 31st, 2025, and concludes in September 2025 during Hispanic Heritage Month, with the winner announced at a marquee concert event (exact date to be determined).
3. How to Enter:
Participants may enter by submitting nominations of artists, sharing artist videos, and voting through the Que Onnda digital platform. Only submissions made via Que Onnda’s official channels will be considered valid. Submissions must comply with all content guidelines provided by Que Onnda (4).
4. Entry Requirements:
All submissions must be original works or authorized materials featuring emerging Latino artists. Entries must not contain offensive, defamatory, or infringing content. Participants grant Nueva Network and Que Onnda a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use submitted content for promotional purposes related to the Contest.
5. Selection and Voting Process:
Finalists will be selected based on the number of valid votes received through the Que Onnda platform and social media engagement. Public voting will determine the ultimate winner. Nueva Network reserves the right to verify voting authenticity and disqualify any fraudulent votes.
6. Prize: The Contest winner will receive:
- A cash prize of $25,000 (USD).
- A $1,000,000 (USD) radio promotional campaign.
Featured exposure across Nueva Network’s national media platforms.
Prizes are non-transferable, and no substitutions are permitted except at the discretion of Nueva Network.
7. Winner Notification and Verification:
The winner will be announced publicly at a Que Onnda marquee concert event and notified directly via the contact information provided during entry. The potential winner must respond and comply with all verification processes within 7 days or risk forfeiture of the prize.
8. General Conditions:
By entering, participants agree to abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of Nueva Network, which are final and binding. Nueva Network reserves the right to disqualify any individual suspected of tampering with the entry process or violating these Rules.
9. Release and Limitations of Liability:
By participating, entrants release Nueva Network, Que Onnda, their respective affiliates, sponsors, and each entity’s directors, officers, employees, and agents from liability related to participation in the Contest or receipt and use of any prize awarded.
10. Publicity:
Acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for Nueva Network and Que Onnda to use the winner’s name, image, likeness, voice, biographical information, and submitted content for promotional purposes without additional compensation.
11. Governing Law:
This Contest is governed by the laws of the United States, and any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of competent courts in the corresponding territory.
