The World Baseball Classic 2026 (World Baseball Classic 2026) celebrates its sixth edition from March 4-17, 2026, with 20 national teams and venues in Houston, Miami, Tokyo and San Juan, Puerto Rico. The tournament will once again bring together some of the leading figures in international baseball and will have Japan, winner of the title in 2023, as defending champion.
For the Hispanic community in the United States, this edition is especially relevant: Houston and Miami will host group stage and decisive rounds, including the semifinals and the final at the Miami Marlins’ home, LoanDepot Park.
Venues and format of the World Classic 2026

The 2026 World Baseball Classic is divided into four groups of five teams each, under a round robin format.
The top two in each group advance to the quarterfinals.

Group A (San Juan, Puerto Rico – Estadio Hiram Bithorn)
Puerto Rico, Cuba, Canada, Panama, Colombia
Group B (Houston – Daikin Park)
United States, Mexico, Italy, Great Britain, Brazil
Group C (Tokyo Dome – Japan)
Japan, Australia, South Korea, Czech Republic, Chinese Taipei
Group D (Miami – loanDepot park)
Venezuela, Dominican Republic, Netherlands, Israel, Nicaragua
The teams advancing from Tokyo will then play in Miami.
The qualifiers from Puerto Rico will play the next round in Houston.
The semifinals and final (March 17) will be held in Miami.
Where to watch the 2026 World Baseball Classic in the USA?

In the United States, all games of the 2026 World Baseball Classic will be broadcast on FOX Sports.
In Mexico, the entire tournament will be available on Disney+, with some games available on ESPN.
For Latino fans in cities such as Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Houston and Miami, television coverage makes it easy to follow teams such as Mexico, the United States, the Dominican Republic, Venezuela and Puerto Rico.
