Christian Nodal faces a legal scenario that, according to versions broadcast on television and documents shown on air, is developing on two fronts.

On the one hand, the conflict continues with Universal Music, his former record label, which is keeping the case alive after insisting on its legal position.

On the other hand, a new chapter has arisen in connection with Cazzu, the Argentine singer with whom he had his daughter Inti, and which would be focused on the issue of child support and cohabitation with the minor.

The conflict with Universal Music remains open because the record label appealed a ruling that had previously benefited Nodal and his parents in a criminal proceeding for allegedly falsifying documents.

In general terms, the controversy revolves around documents that the company considers irregular, while the singer’s defense argues that there is insufficient evidence to support these allegations. The appeal means that the matter remains under review and is not concluded.

The conflict with Cazzu: maintenance, public release and civil lawsuit

At the same time, information began to circulate about a presumed legal suit of Nodal against Cazzu, Buzzy, related to their daughter’s pension. The text itself recalls that the Argentinean had previously complained that the singer -mentioned as Ángela Aguilar’s husband- did not provide a “sufficient” payment to cover Inti’s needs. In contrast, the version attributed to Nodal claims that he gives a high amount and that, for that reason, he would have initiated a legal action.

The program Ventaneando presented documents to support the existence of this lawsuit. According to what was exposed in the December 4 broadcast, it would be a civil lawsuit, filed before a family court in the state of Jalisco, where Nodal appears in the exercise of parental authority and representation of his daughter.

According to what was read in the program, the document establishes that Nodal would have contributed 1 million pesos per month, totaling 12 million pesos in one year. In the broadcast it was stated that the money would have been requested on a monthly basis by Cazzu and delivered in cash, “in his hand”, under the version that this would prevent the Argentine tax authority from knowing about it.

The aforementioned documents state that Nodal sent money to Cazzu under the concept of “alimony”, and that the payments were made through third parties because, according to the text, she “only agreed to receive it that way”. It also states that Nodal seeks not only to continue meeting Inti’s basic needs, but also to live with her daughter and have greater participation in decisions that impact her well-being and development.

With these elements, the case is far from being resolved: Universal Music maintains pressure through appeals, and the civil conflict with Cazzu – according to what was broadcast on television – opens another legal route involving child support, cohabitation and parental decisions. For now, the outcome will depend on what the authorities determine in both processes.
