The content creator known as ‘La Nicholette’, also known as ‘La Muchacha del Salado’, was kidnapped on Tuesday afternoon in the Isla Musala development, one of the most exclusive residential areas of Culiacan, capital of the northern state of Sinaloa, according to local media reported on Wednesday.

The abduction was recorded by the security camera of the young woman’s van, a lilac-colored Tesla Cybertruck, which was found abandoned at the site.

In the video, widely disseminated on social networks, a young man with his face covered and carrying a long gun can be seen preventing the influencer from getting into her vehicle, while another subject forces her into a white sedan, presumably an older model Toyota Corolla.

According to newspaper reports, the incident occurred around 17:00 local time (23:00 GMT) at the intersection of Tachichilte Avenue and San Esteban Street, within the Musala housing development.

Following the complaint, members of the Mexican Army and police forces deployed an operation in the area.

The disappearance of the influencer has generated concern in social networks and in the local community, especially due to the dissemination of the video and the absence of official information on her whereabouts.

The Sinaloa State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) has issued an official search form to locate the young woman.

Who is ‘La Nicholette?

The young woman, identified as Nicole Pardo, is 25 years old and is a content creator with thousands of followers. On Instagram she has more than 163,000 followers, while on TikTok she has at least 111,000. She is also active on Snapchat, Twitch, YouTube and OnlyFans, a platform where she concentrates most of her content.

The influencer often shares aspects of her personal life, business, the purchase of luxury vehicles, as well as her participation in social events.

Although he resides primarily in Culiacán, he spends time in Phoenix (Arizona, USA) where he even operated an online cap store that reportedly included references to drug trafficker Ismael ‘El Mayo’ Zambada.

His public notoriety grew from a corrido titled “La Muchacha del Salado”, popularized in 2023 by Grupo Arriesgado, which accumulates more than 23 million plays on YouTube and makes references to his public persona.

The case occurs in a context of escalating violence against women in Sinaloa. So far in January, seven murders of women have been reported in the state, six of which have been classified as femicides, according to local data.

The discovery of the abandoned van and the viralization of the video have intensified surveillance in the area, reported Agencia EFE, as family members, followers and groups demand information and action to find the young woman in a state hit by constant clashes between organized crime groups.
